Our Story
Swansea Baptist Church seeks to live in the local community. Through our main outreach ministry, Caves Beach Gym, we seek to meet people where they are. We also seek to better equip our church from within, through training, events, resources, camps and more.
To enable this to happen the church leadership pushes towards this vision. All this requires time, investment and application of the gifts God has given to each of us.

Why Give?
The church is a connection point for Christian living. The staff, volunteers, and supporters of the Christian activities in our local area all have one thing in common: they all go to church somewhere.
In our church, we feed them spiritually on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. We provide a place for Christian fellowship, pastoral care, kids ministries and youth. We marry them, bury them, celebrate their anniversaries and birthday. We live life with them.
The church helps identify those in need. Wise leaders prayerfully consider where giving is given. As you know not everyone who asks for help is truly in need. Giving to the church is an excellent way to ensure that your money gets to the people most in need. They can filter out the sob stories from the genuine.
The church serves our community. Because our church gives generously, and because our church leaders designate that a portion of all gifts go to local needs, the resources are met immediately when the situation arises.
The church deserves support. Church, like any organisation, is a give and take operation. If you attend, you learn, you are cared for, nurtured and supported. you have benefited. The building and the land have to be maintained, staff need to be paid, bills need to be paid. There is work to do and things to buy. Being a part of a church, is also about supporting the church.

Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full-pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.
HOW TO GIVE
Being a Christian is more than just an instantaneous conversion – it is a daily process whereby you grow to be more and more like Christ.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.
